This blog is dedicated to telling you about… well, all things CRM.  In the past few weeks, I’ve tried to sprinkle topics around and touch on a little bit of everything, including what you should look for when choosing your CRM system.  I’ve also tried to touch on small businesses where I can, and I want to take this opportunity do so again.  So without further ado, let’s get started.

When you own a small business, you have to consider every investment carefully.  You have to make sure you’re spending wisely and you’re getting a good return on your investment.  So when you’re looking at a CRM system, you need to be sure you’re getting exactly what you want.  You can’t afford not to.

Not Just For The Big Guys Anymore: CRM And Your Small Business

About a decade ago, CRM systems revolutionized business… Big business, that is.  The programs that automated sales functions, contact management, and call centers were housed on huge (costly!) servers, accessible over a LAN, and could only be updated by purchasing new software licenses.  And while it changed the way businesses approached relationship building, it was also clearly limited in its use – and user base.  Small businesses could not afford the servers (and the storage, maintenance, and staff that came along with them) or the expensive software packages, so they were unable to tap into the advantages offered by the service.
